HOTEL, LJUBLJANA CITY

In the center of Ljubljana, capital city of Slovenia, a luxury hotel (project A-Tower) is being built. The hotel has 4 basements and a total height of over 80m above ground level.

SLP d.o.o. was responsible for excavation pit design. The excavation pit had dimensions of approximately 55m x 40m and depth of up to 18,5m.

Excavation support was done by Keller Grundbau by means of overlapping jet grouting columns and temporary anchors. Approx. 2.200m of Soilcrete® columns Ø2000mm and approx. 4.700m of 4 strand temporary anchors was used.
